为帮助自费出国留学人员正确选择国外学习学校，教育部公布了33个我国公民主要留学国家1万多所学校名单，基本涵盖了我公民主要留学目的地国正规高等学校。所公布名单根据有关情况定期调整，目前为第二十三版。本名单截止日期为2012年2月7日。
一、基本情况
英国高等教育机构包括大学、高等教育学院、教育学院以及艺术及设计学院。
英国现有90多所大学和150多所提供本科以上课程的学院。
英国各类院校是否开设预科由各学校自己确定。
